eHarmony Free Communication Weekend, July 4th to 8th 2013
Published on July 4, 2013
eHarmony is having a free weekend starting on July 4th and running until the end of the day on July 8th, 2013. This continues eHarmony’s recent pattern of providing free weekends on US holidays, which is great considering they are giving free time on their dating site when many of us also have more free time to use it (this free weekend is only for the US, by the way). It also continues the approach of giving extended weekends more often than not, where you have five days free instead of three.
As I’ve mentioned with other recent free eHarmony weekends/events, this has been a great year for free time at this dating site. Compared to last year, they are being very generous with the free time being given. In fact, this weekend represents the second weekend in a row where they are giving free time (June 28th to 30th was free last weekend). July will also be the eleventh month in a row where eHarmony has provided a free weekend or free event.
Given all of that, if you’ve been on the fence about giving eHarmony a try, this is the perfect opportunity to try it out. And this seems like the perfect year to do so as well: you only need to create your account once (which will take about an hour) but then you will be able to take advantage of each of these free events. Believe it or not, I think we’re approaching 50 days free now over the 11 months as most of the events have been 5-day free events instead of the traditional 3-day free events, and there have been “free Tuesdays” thrown in as well.
With that in mind, I’d encourage you to give it a try if you’ve been thinking about it. There’s not much to lose (an hour of time I guess) and it can help you figure out if this is a good dating service for you as you look for love online.
One last note if you’ve never tried an eHarmony free weekend: while you can get a good feel for the service, not all of the features are enabled (they’re giving the free weekend in hopes that you’ll sign up, after all). You can see what is included and what isn’t in my article here.
