eHarmony Free Communication Weekend August 31st – Sept 3rd, 2012

eHarmony is having a free communication weekend starting Friday, August 31st and running until Monday, September 3rd 2012. This is a four day free weekend to try communicating with your matches on eHarmony (so as is normally the case, it’s a free extended weekend).
The pattern for free weekends this year continues as the free event is once again around a holiday (this time Labor Day). The last free weekend was on July 4th and then Memorial Day before that. I wonder if someone at eHarmony found people are more inclined to try their dating service when they have a long weekend? We’ll have to wait and see if eHarmony considers Halloween a holiday or if we’ll have to wait until Thanksgiving!
As I’ve said in the past, every day counts in these promotions as it’s more opportunity to get to some first dates, which is obviously a goal if you’re hoping to avoid paying. Having said that, different rules around the eHarmony events can affect how you can communication (and eventually meet) so you may want to read this article on the rules for free events at eHarmony
