Recommended Site: Dating Advice from A Girl

Published on August 9, 2009

I’ve not had much to say lately…and by lately I mean for the last year or so. I always had a vision for my site: share what I had learned from online dating with others. Once I had posted all the concrete examples I had to share I found myself looking for excuses to post (and I don’t feel like these posts were all that helpful). Eventually I decided to stop posting, allowing to let the site continue on as-is. Aside from answering emails sent by readers, I’ve done very little related to the site. In retrospect, I think this was the right decision: a large number of posts was only going to make my more valuable content harder to find.

Still, many times over the last year I’ve been tempted to start posting again (if not regularly at least occasionally). Today I came across a site by accident that I found ignoring to be impossible. This is one of those sites I would have loved to have seen when I was dating online:

Dating Advice From A Girl

When I first stumbled upon the site I knew I wanted to post about an article from the site but after reading a few posts I would like to encourage you to check the entire site out.

When in my posting heyday I remember looking for dating advice from a woman’s point of view but not finding much in the way of “good” results. There were plenty of the cookie-cutter articles that (in my opinion) didn’t bring much new to the table. Eventually, I did have some success but it was limited. That is why I really like this site: it’s not the same advice we’ve seen a thousand times before. It has a very real feel to it that the numbered lists claiming to be great dating advice can’t compete with. Plus, it’s from a girl!

Chances are I just wasn’t very good when I was searching before for dating advice from women. Regardless, if you’re a man wondering what the other side is thinking or a woman looking for advice from someone who might understand you better, this is a great place to start.

More post may be on the way…I may share the advice I’ve been providing through email but I’m still on the fence at the moment. Whether I’m back tomorrow or not at all, I did feel like this one was worth sharing
